Purpose & Performance Group was born out of a shared observation: in the fast-paced world of dealerships and family-owned businesses, technical skill is everywhere, but true leadership development is often left to chance.

Teresa King and Rebecca Gebhardt launched P & P to change that. With over five years of proven collaboration and 22 years of working with dealerships, they’ve combined their "in-the-trenches" experience to build a firm that doesn’t just teach leadership—it hard-wires it into your business strategy.

Our Why

We’ve spent our careers inside multi-location organizations. We’ve seen the challenges of rapid growth, the friction of consolidation, and the talent gaps that keep leadership up at night. We realized that most "leadership training" was too theoretical for the daily life of a dealership.

We launched this firm to provide a practical, future-ready alternative. We believe that when you align the Head (strategy), the Heart (values), and Action (accountability), you unlock a level of performance that most organizations only dream of.

Rebecca Gebhardt

2x best-selling author and 3x founder. Rebecca specializes in maximizing leadership capabilities through strength-based strategy and goal setting. A top 1% sales veteran, she is passionate about empowering leaders at all levels to understand how better leaders impact recruiting, retention, and revenue. She believes that development needs to connect to implementation.

As a speaker, Rebecca is known for her high-impact, engaging style that blends data-driven strategy with actionable insights. Her expertise is further backed by her credentials as a certified Kolbe and Leadership Circle consultant.

Teresa King

Teresa is a former dealership CHRO with a passion for leadership and organizational development, helping leaders grow through purpose, compassion, and emotional intelligence. Her work is rooted in the belief that effective leadership starts with self-awareness and a genuine understanding of one's impacts on others.

Teresa partners with leaders to build trust, strengthen relationships, and lead with intention. She is passionate about helping individuals lean into their strengths, lead with empathy, and create cultures where people - and performance - can thrive. She is a certified practitioner in Genos Emotional Intelligence.
